Privacy Policy

Plain version: we collect only what we need to run the products and take payment. We don't sell personal information or use ad trackers. Stripe handles card details; we never see them.
1. Who is responsible
Automadic, a sole proprietorship operated by Steve Mallett in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, is responsible for personal information handled under this policy. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Privacy questions go to hello@automadic.ai.
These terms cover every Automadic product, including AgentRank (agentrank-ai.com), pline (pline.app) and Proofwork. A product page may add terms specific to that product; if the two conflict, the product page wins for that product.
2. What we collect

AgentRank also processes public information about open-source projects, such as repository names, maintainers' public GitHub usernames and project statistics. This is information those projects have published publicly.
3. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the service to work, for example to keep you signed in while claiming a listing. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of the service for us, under contract, and only as needed:
- Stripe: payments and subscription billing
- Cloudflare: hosting, databases, security and email routing
- GitHub: sign-in for listing claims
- AgentMail: delivery of pline list emails
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or users' safety.
5. Where it's stored
Our providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States. There it's subject to local laws and may be accessible to authorities under those laws. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while your subscription is active, and then as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally six years in Canada). Detailed technical logs are summarized or deleted after 90 days. You can ask us to delete other information sooner.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we're not required to keep it. You can also withdraw consent to optional uses. Email hello@automadic.ai; we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you're in the EU, UK or California, you have the equivalent rights under your local law, and we'll honour them.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted-permission API keys, and access limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we'll notify affected people and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. We'll email subscribers about material changes.
