Automadic is Steve Mallett's company. I build small, useful internet products and run them with AI agents that handle the crawling, scoring, data work and upkeep. I decide what ships, and I answer the email.

How it runs
Agents do the repetitive work
Crawls, scoring, data cleanup, monitoring and first drafts run on a schedule, mostly on my own hardware.
A person approves what goes out
Emails, prices, spending and anything published go past me first. Nothing is sent automatically.
Kept only if it works
Each product has a revenue target and a cut-off date. If it misses, it gets fixed, sold or shut down.
